Activity description

Enjoy a 4x4 excursion led by expert local guides through the Guarrizas River Valley to observe birds in the wild.

During the tour, your guide will identify the species you observe and explain the characteristics of their habitat, as well as aspects of their biology and behavior. You'll also learn to differentiate them by their songs.

The route is designed to explore birdwatching in different habitats, such as meadows, Mediterranean woodland, riverside areas or reservoirs, olive groves, and open spaces, thereby spotting as many species as possible along the way.

The activity takes place in the Guarrizas River Valley, in the province of Jaén, and the itinerary will depend on the species you wish to observe during the day. Before your visit, you can tell us which species you would like to observe, and we will adapt the itinerary to best meet them.

During the tour, it is also possible to spot different species of mammals, as well as reptiles and amphibians depending on the time of year.

Let your guide recommend you; the experience and information you gain about sightings each day will make your visit much more successful.
